读出原故事的六要素 (相当于抓住原故事的主题和重点)

操作步骤:

1.边读边想象场景,在大脑屮构造画面、拍电影。

2.边读边用中文把主要情节写下来。(可以避免反复看原文而浪费时间)

3.主要情节即“记叙文六要素”:人物、时间、地点、起因 、经过、结果

(谁在什么时间、什么地方,因为什么、做了什么、最终怎样。)

●编

依据原文中的六要素,用中文编新故事

(原则:时间/地点/人物不变,起因/经过/结果顺承)

操作步骤:

▲编情节:根据两段的首句,猜测故事发展的脉络。

(可用正负法,结局一定是正向的,符合社会主义价值观;如果有标题,最后一定要点题)

▲编细节:续写的两个自然段各想4-5句话(用中文记下4-5个要点。)

【注意】

①直白原则:4-5句要点,一定要最简洁直白的中文句子。

②无缝衔接原则:编第一段最后一句,一定要参考第二段给出的首句。

直白原则:什么人做什么事。

▲情况1:

编中文句子,非常简洁直白,符合“什么人做什么事”,可直接进行下一步:翻译。

▲情况2:

编中文句子比较复杂,或者中文句子有文采,先要做“简单化”处理,再翻译。

【注意】

①一个根本原因:英语句子的表达比较直白。

②一个理念:之所以有时句子翻译不出来,不是因为你英语差,而是因为你中文水平太高!

如何简化

按照“什么人做什么事”的模式简化中文句子

举例:

1.两个黄鹂鸣翠柳。

简化:两个黄鹂在柳树上唱歌。 Two golden orioles sing amid the willows.

2.整个晚上,他们载歌载舞。

简化:整个晚上,他们唱歌和跳舞。 All night long, people dance and sing.

3.先帝创业未半而中道崩殂。

简化:在实现梦想之前,你爸爸死了。 Your father died before realizing his dreams.

●造(翻译 & 造句)

总步骤:把简单句翻译出来。→ 对照万能公式,进行加长。

唯一的万能公式(★★★★★)

时间/地点/过渡 , + sb,+ with sth in one's hand ,+ doing sth2,+ did sth1, + doing sth3, + feeling(looking) …. +扩展句式

某时间(地点),+某人,+手里拿个啥,+ 做着第一件事儿的同时,+做了第二件事,+ 同时还做着第三件事,+感觉如何(或看上去如何)....+扩展句式

【举例】

Of course, Arthur, still running on the Park Avenue, with the suitcase in his hand, refused to stop, trying his best to look for a taxi.

●万能公式原理解密

状语位置很灵活,可以把状语放简单句前放简单句中或放简单句后。

举例:

▲当我有时间,我就会学英语。

_____________________, I will learn English. 放简单句前

I will learn English _____________________. 放简单句后

I,_______________________, will learn English. 放简单句中

▲我找到了钱包,感到很开心。

_____________________,I found the wallet. 放简单句前

●万能公式实施流程

第一步:打地基 (总耗时目标:30秒-1分钟)

准备设计图:把草稿纸上的万能公式放在眼前。

准备简单句:把简单句造出来,写在草稿纸上。

第二步:找材料 (每一句耗时目标:30秒-2分钟)

对照着万能公式,从左到右,依次找出状语,添加到简单句的前、中、后。

第三步:搭房子(每一句耗时目标:30秒-1分钟)

选择2-3句,放在前、中、后的位置上。

●万能公式实战演练

万能公式:

时间/地点/过渡,sb,with sth in one's hand,doing sth2,did sth1, doing sth3, feeling(looking) ….

1.造出简单句:

【例】

他救下了这个小女孩。 He saved the little girl.

2.找材料 (每一句耗时目标:30秒-2分钟)

对照着万能公式,从左到右,依次找出状语,添加到简单句的前、中、后。(30秒想不出,就进行下个小部分)

本质:编“时间”的本质是编“动词”!

时间:When与after等

如何编出高质量的“动词”:

1.根据生活常识想象:这个动词之前或之后,会做啥动作比较合理。

2.到原文中找灵感,关注名词和动词(名词也可以提示动词,比如water对应的动词可以是drink,look for等)。

找到动词后,如何处理:

1.(最简单方式)直接变成when/after时间状语从句。

2.(升级转化)变成“伴随状语”

3.(升级转化)变成and并列句。

实战:

He saved the little girl.

救之前可以想象到跑进房间这个动作

添加时间状语参考答案:

如何“编”出地点:

1.参考文中给出的地点

2.自己根据句意自己编

实战:

添加地点状语参考答案:

▲添加过渡词

操作步骤:

如果短时间内自己有更适合的过渡词,且保证能写对的情况下,就用自己的。

如果没有思路,就在这五个里面挑选。

with的复合结构: with+n.+修饰

Carter enjoyed riding the school bus home. The ride home gave him some time to relax after a busy day of fifth grade. He usually sat alone and enjoyed that too. With four siblings (兄妹) he didn't get much time alone. Sometimes he sat with his younger brother, Jackson, but Jackson was sick at home today.

The bus stopped and the tallest boy in his class, Dexter, stepped off followed by his younger brother, Billy. As the bus pulled away, Carter looked back over his shoulder to watch the boys. Dexter was yelling and waving his hands at his little brother. Billy said something Carter could not hear. Dexter yelled, gave his younger brother a hard shove(推,挤)and knocked him to the ground. Billy was on the ground wiping his eyes, but Dexter walked away.

Carter turned in his seat, feeling disgusted. He hated seeing little kids get picked on (欺负).The sight of Billy on the ground crying was burned into his memory. He tried to think of something else.

He thought of the model car he was working on at home, a 1967 Corvette. He started building it over a week ago and just finished putting it together last night. Tonight, as soon as he finished his homework, he could start painting the car. That was his favorite part. He already had the perfect color of blue picked out.

He hurried off the bus, ran through his yard, and breezed through the kitchen with a quick hello to his mom. She was making spaghetti, which smelled delicious. He ran up the stairs two at a time and rushed into his room.

“Surprise!” his brother Jackson said, throwing his arms into the air. "What are you doing in my room? I thought you were sick!”

“I feel better!”

"What's on your face? Are you bleeding?"

"No! I'm not bleeding." Jackson wiped at his face, probably just paint. Look! Look what I did!” He pointed at the desk in the corner of Carter's room.
